Liver Center-operated LSR II
The Liver Cell Isolation, Analysis and Immunology Core is equipped with its own BD Biosciences LSR II flow cytometer on the Parnassus Campus (S-357). This instrument is configured with 3 fixed alignment lasers (488, 405, 633 nm) that enable analysis of 13 colors. The LSR II can be used for cell analysis, cytometric bead assays and cytokine secretion studies. Core staff provide training for new users (see Consultation &Training).

The Liver Center also partners with the Parnassus Flow Cytometry Core to provide access to a broad range of instruments for cell analysis and sorting. Training and assistance are also available.
