Copper metabolism, epigenetics and genetics in Wilson disease
Dr. Medici is a physician-scientist who specializes in the care of liver diseases, with particular focus on metabolic disease. Her research focuses on the study of Wilson disease, including the epigenetic changes that can affect the clinical manifestations of this rare inherited disorder of copper homeostasis.
This hybrid seminar can be attended in person or via Zoom. In-person attendance is encouraged to show appreciation of and promote engagement with the speaker.
