Alagille Syndrome: A Global Perspective on Natural History and Novel Therapeutics

 

Dr. Kamath is a physician-scientist. Her research focuses on inherited biliary disorders. Her primary interest is to understand the phenotypic manifestations, genotype-phenotype relationship and natural history of Alagille Syndrome. This talk will encompass a brief review of Alagille syndrome and then focus on novel data from an international database of Alagille syndrome patients. There will also be a discussion regarding the recently approved IBAT inhibitors in Alagille syndrome.
