The 2nd California DDRCC Network Symposium which will take place virtually on December 3 from 1 to 4 PM. The purpose of the network is to connect basic/translational and clinical gastroenterology and liver researchers at all levels of experience––ranging from seasoned professor to first-year student––from UCLA, UCSD, UCSF and USC. A major goal of the symposium is to support junior investigators by highlighting their latest research findings and providing them with access to experienced investigators with knowledge relevant to career development. Specifically, we will have a scientific program featuring brief presentations by basic/translational and clinical junior investigators from each of the 4 institutions and a career development workshop consisting of 3 parallel sessions on how to be successful with publishing and obtaining funding.
