Liver Center members affiliated with the research theme Progenitor Cells, Growth and Development study normal and abnormal processes of liver cell proliferation. They investigate liver organogenesis, angiogenesis, stem cell biology and carcinogenesis, and have clinical interests ranging from liver cell transplantation to the role of maternal-fetal chimerism in the pathogenesis of liver disease.
