Tool and Technology grants are one-time awards of up to $10,000 that enable Center members take advantage of many cutting-edge research services available at UCSF and nearby institutions. Examples of clinical and basic research services that can be obtained with the help of Tool and Technology Funds are provided in the Resources section below.
The program is designed is to accommodate individual member requests for research support in a flexible format with several award dates annually. Funds must be spent within 6 months of the award date.
Eligibility criteria
- Active Center member (Full or Associate member)
- No existing support for proposed request
Important dates and deadlines
- Application deadlines: Jan 4, Apr 1, Sept 1
- Award begins: Feb 1, May 1, Oct 1
