Pilot/Feasibility grants are one-year awards of $30,000 that support (a) new investigators, (b) established investigators from non-liver disciplines and (c) Center members wishing to begin new projects completely divergent from their established expertise.
Eligibility criteria
- Applicants must be affiliated with UCSF or its partner institutions within the Center (BSRI, CPMC, Stanford)
- Applicants need not be Center members at the time of submission
- Applicants must be faculty members or postdoctoral fellows in their last year of training (see instructions).
- Special rules apply to prior awardees (see instructions)
Important dates and deadlines
- Deadline for letter of intent: December 1, 2009
- Deadline for full application (by invitation only): February 15, 2010
- Award begins: April 1, 2010
