Primary nonparenchymal cells

The Cell Biology Core prepares primary nonparenchymal cells, including stellate cells, sinusoidal endothelial cells and Kupffer cells, from rat and mouse liver.  Cell suspensions are purified by density gradient centrifugation, MACS, and/or FACS depending on the needs of the client.  Clients are encouraged to consult with Core personnel for optimal service.

Nonparenchymal cells are provided as cell suspensions or as freshly seeded cultures on tissue culture plastic in serum-containing medium.  Custom culture conditions can be provided upon request.

Prices for cell isolation, cell purification and culture can be found here.
