The Digestive Diseases Research Core Centers Program (DDRCC) at NIDDK provides a mechanism for funding shared resources that serve to integrate, coordinate, and foster interdisciplinary cooperation among established investigators who conduct research related to a common theme in digestive diseases.
There are currently 16 active DDRCC, only four of which are dedicated to liver research:
- UCSF Liver Center
- USC Research Center for Liver Diseases
- Yale Liver Center
- Marion Bessin Liver Center at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine
